IFI Interior Declaration Ceremony @ Kobe, Nagoya
IFI , International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers is an organization to conduct research and studies related to interior design, or replacement on collection of design education in the world and in order to have developmental propose it carried out various activities as a global platform. In Japan, International Design Center (IdcN), Japan Interior Designers Association (JID), and Japan Institute of Design promotion (JDP) have joined.
From 16 to 11 July, the Council of IFI was held in various parts of Japan, in addition, signature approved of "IFI interior declaration ceremony "was held at Kobe, July 14, and Nagoya, July 16.
IFI Interior Declaration adopted from IFI Design Frontiers:The Interiors Entity GLobal Symposium held at February, 2011, is aims at arousing the importance of space design in everyday life, and emphasis on what should interior design focus, and what is the awareness and responsibility that an interior designer should have.Including the leaders of interior design around the world, it has been collecting signatures of approval from the head of government Nigeria, Taipei, Taiwan, and New York City so far. Nagoya and Kobe, certified as design city by UNESCO Creative Cities Network, both approved the Interior Declaration this time.
Ichiro Yada is standing mayor in Kobe, and Takashi Kawamura, Mayor of Nagoya city, attended the ceremony along with Ms Shashi Caan, IFI President respectively. That they would further improve the awareness of interior design as a design city has been identified.
