India Design Mark, established as a national Design Award of India, began to accept applications. Organizer is India Design Council, an organization related to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India.

At the first round, Conditions had been imposed such as “entry should be produced in India”, but this time, some of eligibility changed. Thus, many products are able to apply to this award.Entries are accepted in English on the official website of the India Design Mark. Deadline is September 30.

Results notification of 1st stage evaluation: December 14
India Design Mark Exhibition:  February 09 and 10, 2013
Announcement: February 28, 2013

Eligibility

・「Made in India」「Designed in India」「Sold in India」satisfied two of these three conditions
・Mass - produced products
・Production has been started at the time of application
・Finished product
・Has been released as a new product from January 1, 2010 to June 29, 2012
