The Japan Institute of Design Promotion has cooperated with the Singapore Design Council since 2012, and JDP helped the establishment of their design award to improve the design standard in Singapore.Singapore Good Design Mark(SG Mark)starts from 2014, and awarded 62 designs for its first year. 

The cooperation is similar to what we have done with India Design Mark of India and Design Excellence Award of Thailand so far. Those items which been awarded with SG Mark will be exempt from the first screening of Good Design Award. This year, one of them was awarded with Best 100.

As the same, Good Design Awarded item from Japan could also join SG Mark without the first screening or other limits. Please join if you interested in Singapore Market.

SG Mark 2015 Outline

Objective:

Industry with the design, life, shown in society the problem-solving power for the society, and connect to the next generation. The design force of Singapore has shown in world wide, and will promote the market.

Qualification:

Announced or possible be purchased before March 13, 2015, service, business subject or designers.

Applicants:

3 category "Life","Industry","Society" of product and communication.
