Exhibition named "WINDOWSCAPE" will be held at Tokyo Midtown Design Hub from tomorrow, on theme of "Mado-gaku", a research activity that explores windows in various perspectives of academic.  This is the first time to have such exhibition in Japan. "Mado-gaku" has a long history, also positioned in cultural, and it aims to contribute better architecture, urban, in society by assessing its role and meaning to present new possibilities and charm of the window. Exhibition of this time is based on research by Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, Tokyo Institute of Technology laboratory, which has been jointly participating in the "Mado-gaku" for seven years. 

Under the theme "science behavior of window" "Machinami-gaku of window" and "Genealogy of window", Tsukamoto lab has been conducting research in the window since 2007. Photographs and drawings of windows that taken from all over the world so far will be on display, as well as the process of fieldwork that Tsukamoto laboratory has been carried out.Talk sessions and lectures, workshop on "window" will also be held during the exhibition.
