Japan Institute of Design Promotion has been conducted numbers of promotion activities related to design in Hong Kong since 2009. As a part, a store named "GOOD DESIGN STORE" will be opened in "PMQ", a commercial facility built by Hong Kong government public institution to practice a new creative for industrial development. "PMQ" is located in Central, Soho district, which is one of the featured areas in Hong Kong; this area also gathered most tourists and high-income earners with high sensitive. It is the latest government-driven creative base could contain over 100 sets of tenants of shops and restaurants produced by local creators in Hong Kong.

"GOOD DESIGN STORE" took advantages of "PMQ", as a show room for G Mark Products as well, will sell awarded products and work as a base for Japan Design promotion. Hong Kong, such a vibrant and important city in both industrial and culture of Asia, will be a large international audience for Good Design Award and Japan Design.

In additional, design shop "K11 DesignStore" inside "K11 Art Mall", a commercial facility in the largest commercial area of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon side of Hong Kong, will exhibit over 100 Good Design awarded products as "GOOD DESIGN COLLECTION". "K11" opened in 2009 as "The World's First Art Mall". "GOOD DESIGN COLLECTION", it is first to hold such large-scale exhibition in Hong Kong with the cooperation of K11 Art Mall, K11 DesignStore and winning companies, about 40 products will be in exhibited and sale.
