Since signed a partnership to India Design Council on April, 2010, JDP provided supports to the India Design Award “India Design Mark (I Mark)” which established by the management methods of Japan’s "Good Design Award". First started on January of 2012, this time the screening was carried out in Pune, India on February 7 and 8.

The Venue, Ishanya Mall is also an interior lifestyle products shopping mall. There has 80 screening subjects gathered in venue, and the screening has been carried out for two days. Mr. Kazuo Tanaka, president of GK Design Co., Ltd, Mr. Kohei Nishiyama, president of Elephant design Co., Ltd. was also advised in screening

As the result, 41 products were awarded by I Mark. Also, automobiles and motorcycles from Japan companies such as Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Yamaha are awarded.

The 41 Awarded products of the 2nd I Mark Award were in public on Feb 9 and 10, and also hold an exhibition called "Good Design Exhibition in India" which focused on those 31 awarded products from Japan. Over 2000 visitors came to this exhibition during two days.

On the evening of Feb 9, a seminar organized by IDC was carried out target on companies from Pune and design studio, while Mr. Tanaka and Mr. Nishiyama gave lectures and introduced history and future of Japan’s industrial design, also the structure of branding process.
