“Tokyo Business Design Award”, a design and business proposal competition organized by Tokyo Metropolitan Government started now. This competition has a purpose of business matching with the aim of collaboration between companies and designers.

In this award, companies possessed high technology in Tokyo will provide their own technology or materials as theme to invite public participation, and then designers will propose their ideas in development of applications or business for the companies. In addition, matched companies and awarded designers by this competition, will be continue support for realization of the ideas after won the prize. The grand winner designer will receive a prize of 1,000,000\, companies which provide the themes will follow the advices by juries as well, moreover, combine with the support measures carried out by Tokyo government for small and medium sized enterprises, this competition aims to achieve realization and commercialization of propose. 

Presently, theme proposal companies of Tokyo are in recruitment. And a briefing of theme proposal for companies will hold on May 25, 10a.m.
