Call for Entries: Good Design Korea 2026
The Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) is pleased to share that applications are now open for Good Design Korea 2026, one of JDP’s international partner awards.
Established in 1985, Good Design Korea (GDK) is Korea’s government-certified design award program. Through a fair and rigorous evaluation process conducted by domestic and international experts, outstanding entries are awarded the official GD (Good Design) mark.
The program welcomes submissions from around the world across a broad range of disciplines, including product, communication, digital media, spatial, fashion, and service design.
Eligibility
- Products or projects currently on the market, or scheduled for release within two years from the registration deadline
- Applications may be submitted individually or jointly by product owners, brands, or design companies
Key Dates for 2026
- Early Bird Registration Deadline: May 31, 2026
- Regular Registration Deadline: June 30, 2026 (23:59 KST)
- Product / On-site Review: July 13 – August 5, 2026
- Final Presentation for TOP 80 Finalists: September 15 – 17, 2026
- Award Ceremony: November 27, 2026

Applications must be submitted through the official website below.
First-time applicants are required to create a corporate account on KIDP’s DesignDB platform.
Submission Fees:
- Early Bird: KRW 770,000
- Regular: KRW 880,000
