The Tsubamesanjo area of Niigata Prefecture is widely known as a city of craftsmanship. Its long-nurtured manufacturing techniques and spirit have evolved through the generations, fusing with design to produce products of remarkable quality and appeal.
This exhibition highlights GOOD DESIGN AWARD winners from the Tsubamesanjo region in 2025, along with many other award-winning products created in this manufacturing hub.

A special feature is dedicated to Maruto Hasegawa Kosakujo Inc., a company that has received numerous GOOD DESIGN AWARDs. Since earning its first award in 1982, the company has been honored 57 times. It operates two main brands:

• KEIBA, a tools brand centered on pliers

• MARUTO, a brand offering products for nail care and beauty
  Both embody the company’s uncompromising pursuit of excellence in “cutting,” and showcase the strength of Tsubamesanjo’s renowned forging techniques. We invite you to explore the products born from this craftsmanship tradition.

Some of the items on display are also available for purchase at GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA (KITTE Marunouchi 3F) and at Ginza / Niigata Information Center “THE NIIGATA” on Ginza Suzuran-dori.
