From September 18 to 21, 2025, the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Special Exhibition @ DESIGN SHENZHEN 2025 was held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

This was the third large-scale exhibition of the GOOD DESIGN AWARD in China. Under the theme “Advancement of Design,” the exhibition showcased 14 works carefully selected from past GOOD DESIGN BEST100 winners. The venue welcomed approximately 30,000 visitors, bringing together designers, companies, and media representatives. Against the backdrop of Shenzhen’s strengths as a “design city,” the exhibition deepened design exchange between Japan and China, broadened awareness of the GOOD DESIGN AWARD, and fostered cultural resonance.

The exhibition space conveyed the value of outstanding design, while also facilitating active dialogue and inspiration among participants. Shenzhen’s position as an international design city was further strengthened, and the event served as a platform to envision a more sustainable design future. At the same time, it became an opportunity to promote international exchange through design and a valuable occasion to present the GOOD DESIGN AWARD to the world from the creative city of Shenzhen. Looking ahead, plans are underway to expand to other cities and further enhance interactive programming.
