GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi is pleased to present a special exhibition titled "Living with the Forms" from June 7 (Sat) to July 12 (Sat), 2025.

This exhibition showcases 88 design items selected from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP)’s collection of past GOOD DESIGN AWARD and LONG LIFE DESIGN AWARD winners, ranging from the 1950s to the 2010s. The focus of the selection is on the form and texture of each piece.

We live our lives surrounded by many forms.

There are forms designed for functionality, forms and colors that spark joy, forms and textures that bring comfort, and forms that unite people's hearts.

Even as times and societies change, forms, colors, and materials continue to shape our daily experiences and emotions.

What feelings or sensations will emerge for you when you encounter the 88 forms on display—ranging from tableware and kitchen tools to furniture, appliances, and stationery?

About the GOOD DESIGN AWARD and LONG LIFE DESIGN AWARD
The GOOD DESIGN AWARD, established in 1957, honors design that aims to improve lives and society.
 While the definition of “good design” varies depending on time, place, and context, the award recognizes designs that embody the following values:
 Honesty (Human Nature), Humanity (Integrity), Innovation, Esthetics, and Ethics.
The LONG LIFE DESIGN AWARD honors products and services that have been in the market for over 10 years.
