My Favorite G-mark Exhibition: The Selection from GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2024 Begins
The GOOD DESIGN AWARD jury selection, “My Favorite G-mark Exhibition 2024,” kicked off on October 16 (Wed) at GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi, showcasing the latest award-winning designs chosen by the judges.
Starting from October 16 the “My Favorite G-mark” exhibit introduces award-winning designs selected by the GOOD DESIGN AWARD judges, providing an exclusive first look. This year, 87 personal favorites from 103 jury members, along with their messages, will be showcased in three phases.
Over 5,000 designs from around the world were submitted for this year’s GOOD DESIGN AWARD. Following in-depth discussions by the judging panel, which includes domestic and international designers, architects, researchers, and experts from various fields, over 1,500 designs were recognized. This exhibit highlights the personal picks of the judges – designs that caught their eye or held special meaning for them during the review process.
In the first phase, designs that serve as personal or hobby companions are displayed. The second phase highlights designs that serve as essential support for industries and activities, and the third phase celebrates designs that empower families, communities, and like-minded individuals. In addition to the exhibit, talk events focused on personal picks and areas of interest will also be held. Discover designs that brighten and enrich everyday life at this year’s exhibit.
