The result of Good Design Award 2018 was released on October 03. In this year, 1,353 entries were selected as Good Design Award recipients from 4,789 entries. 19 entries of Long Life Design Award were also determined.

Good Design Gold Award and Focus Award(newly established) will be determined by Best 100 presentation and closed discussion on October 10, and announced on October 31 at Award ceremony. Good Design Grand Award,deemed the design of the year 2018, will be chosen from Good Design Award finalist, selected from the recipient of Gold Award, through voting by jury members and winners who attend award ceremony on October 31.
