Conclusion of MOU for mutual cooperation with CUMULUS
Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) is proud to announce the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding with CUMULUS, the international association of universities and colleges of art, design and media, to cooperate on mutual design promotion activities, education and research.
CUMULUS was established in 1990 to improve the quality of art and design education through mutual cooperation of the member schools. It carries out biannual conferences, shares Master’s Programs and holds workshops. As of 2015, CUMULUS consists of 226 schools from 49 countries including Chiba University, Kobe Design University, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Kyoto Seika University, Nagoya City University and Tokyo Zokei University.
JDP hosted the recent board meeting of CUMULUS from Feb. 8 to 10. Taking advantage of this opportunity, it formed a partnership with CUMULUS and plans for mutually cooperation on future events.
