Japan Institute of Design Promotion has been in cooperation with India Design Council since 2010 to establish and organize Indian national design award "India Design Mark (I Mark)".
The 5th I Mark is now calling for entry until October 31.

<About I Mark 2016>

Call for Entry : June 29 to October 31
Eligibility : The product entry should satisfy any two of the three requirements i.e. Made in India, Designed in India or Sold in India
Categories of Entry : Lifestyle Products, Home & Office Appliances, Industrial Equipment, Furniture & Equipment and Automotive & Transportation.
I Mark winners can join 2nd screening of Good Design Award, skipping 1st screening and vice versa.

The 4th I mark jury session was held on February 19 and 20 in Bangalore, and 58 of 200 entries are selected as India Design Mark 2015. As a jury from Japan, Mr.Masahiro Inoue, the professor of Nagoya Institute of Technology and former Design Director of TOSHIBA Corporation joined the jury session.
The results are now available on the online gallery and 6 of them are from Japanese companies as below.
