Good Design Award 2015 calls for entries from April 2 to June 3.
Good Design Award has been a sole comprehensive design evaluation and commendation system in Japan since 1957. More than 40,000 designs have been selected as Good Design Award for over half century. The particularity of the Good Design Award is its wide range of eligible design - not only products but also architecture, applications, projects, business model or more.
Award winners can enjoy various benefits such as promotion with well known G Mark, participation to the Good Design Exhibition and media coverages.

From 2015, Mr.Kazufumi Nagai for chairman and Ms Fumie Shibata for vice chairman are inaugurated of Good Design Award 2015 Judging committee. Their new developed 12 “topical issues” which we should be aware to face the social problems will be considered all through the jury process and the award winners will show how design can be involved to solve the problems.

April 2 - June 3 : Application period
September 29 : Good Design Award 2015 results announcement
October 30 - November 4: Good Design Exhibition 2015
November 4 : Awarding ceremony

Eligibility: Any kind of design could be applied as far as it is available for public users by March 31, 2016, and also should be able to be public on the day of announcement September 29, 2015.
