
[Report]Akita Design Base - [Akita Industrial Design Support Center] Start
“Akita Industrial Design Support Center” is an organization established on April of last year aimed at leading design into traditional crafts for related businesses, and improvement of Design and product development capability, also including enhance marketing strategy and so forth. It’s based in Akita Municipal Junior College of Arts and Crafts, the only University in Art and Design of Akita. In Akita, the first time in 13 years that an official institute in design was established since the design department in Industrial Technology Center has been abolished in 1998.
Akita, a city has the unique industrial with beautiful materials and skillful technology, is expected to a further development by the power of design.
